Who qualifies?
Not everyone is a candidate. During your consultation we review your health history to confirm Semaglutide is safe for you. You may not qualify with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, MEN2, a history of pancreatitis, or certain other contraindications.
- A family history of medullary thyroid cancer
- Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2A or 2B
- A history of pancreatitis
- Pregnancy, or planning pregnancy
- Severe gastrointestinal disease or type 1 diabetes
Possible side effects
